Baffle block, together with honeycomb ceramic substrate, has been widely applied to industrial furnaces with regenerative combustion technology. Baffle blocks are installed in front of honeycomb ceramics to protect them and prolong the running time of honeycomb ceramics.

 

There are different materials for baffle block, including corundum-mullite, mullite, zirconia-mullite, corundum and so on. Baffle blocks in my company are characterized with high temperature stability, high refractoriness, small coefficient of the thermal expansion, strong chemical corrosion resistance and excellent thermal shock resistance.
